Competition between stock exchanges in Asia is set to increase in 2010 as Shanghai seeks to assert itself, attracting Chinese and regional listings. But other venues such as Hong Kong and Singapore are fighting back.
Shanghai usurped Hong Kong in September 2009, raising $9.2 billion for the year to that point, compared to Hong Kong’s $8.1 billion.
